This Easter was conference weekend. Robyn and Matt came from California so Matt could take the boys to the Preisthood session at the conference center. Unfortunately, Robyn left the egg dying stuff in their car, so we had to wait for them to get back from conference. They got back around 10:30 (they went out to dinner after). So at 10:30 at night the kids were dying eggs. Let's just say I did not have the patience for Riley to paint every egg with a paintbrush. I tried to get him to just color each egg one color, but as you can see he still did his fair share of painting.
The next day we had snow on the ground. Just perfect for an easter egg hunt! We went to Hope's for the hunt. We had 5 kids searching for eggs and my mom said that they each could find 20. They started searching and Hope's son Zach quickly filled up his bag. The guys had put 40 of the eggs in the grass so it would be easier for the 18 month and 3 year old. Well Zach ended up with 30 because he also found the ones that were hidden for the older boys. I had to take some from his bag. He was not very happy with me. Then after we kept searching for 10 more eggs my mom realized that 48 and 42 does not equal 100. Oops! Oh well, the kids had a great time anyways.
